Amy & Christian's wedding at the downtown Seattle municipal court house was such a sweet and fun event. I felt so honored to be part of their special day!
Amy & Christian have been friends for a long time and I loved capturing their connection. Surrounded by family and a few close friends, they said their vows overlooking our fair city on one of the warmest days of the year when the fires in British Columbia made for hazy skies, and the most beautiful soft light streaming through the floor to ceiling windows on the top floor. The Seattle Courthouse is an incredible modern building with a sweeping view of the city. Even through the haze that day - the view did not disappoint!
While waiting to be called up to the 10th floor, we popped across the street to capture a few photos in front of the very cool mid-century City Administrative building (I'm only mildly obsessed with all things mid-century...) with the most fantastic hexagonal patterns in the architecture.
We ended our day together with a few photos in a special spot of theirs overlooking the Sound near Pike Place Market - the same spot where they took one of their very first photos together! So sweet. I loved all the laughter and editing their wedding truly made my heart happy.
Congratulations, Amy & Christian!
